...Aeia, as I affectionately call this one, is my first successful study using textures. The final piece uses Shadow Map, Gel and Psuedocolor effects and layering to accomplish the desired results. It is unfortunate, her realization of the truth comes to her too late. Medium: done with tons of layers, soft and detail airbrushes, soft and some light opacity oil blenders. In the distance, Semshi begins to glow, ablaze for atrocities against her Emperor, Chao Shin. Now, as Kuttedo and Takki concentrate on moving further east, to Moghan, to render similar judgment, Kuttedo considers the decree inscribed on her sword: Star Trek (the Original Series) Celebrates 45 years of ..a recent study of facial expression and putting the body into an action form. My usual pick of mixed media is in use. A Daz render, then freehanded airbrush and charcoal work. I decided to make this an exercise in sepia interpretation, using mixed media. A number of nature textures were blended in. Also, Daz 3d modeling and rendering. Airbrush, blenders, pencil, acrylic brushes, and charcoals were also added to create the tones and contrasts. Approximately 30 layers went into the final product.
