Painted in Corel Painter 12, this image was something that started out with me taking a chalk brush and trying to create a 'speeding' effect. As I developed the vehicle, I realised the colour patterning may have been influenced by modern trainers/sports footwear. It also gave the vehicle a quite 'retro' feel which I tried to embelish with retro multicoloured car interior panel lights. The electricity pylon on the ground was added late in the day as I wanted to lock down for the viewer, some notion of the position and relationship of the vehicle to the ground plain - it helped emphasis the point that the vehicle's tip, whilst traveling forward, is somewhat tilted up slightly.

You are progressing all the time Russell. It is also commendable that you are always trying to include new elements in your work. Your use of color in fore, middle and background adds to the depth of field. Keep up the progression.
