Nanny State Say No by Sarah Stephenson

My Campaign Posters refers to the NANNY STATE ISSUE. From further research Government Issue like this don't work for a huge number of reasons. One of the reason is that the public wishes to be free with they chooses. Like if we want to catch a fish for dinner, or build a tree house for our kids, we should be able to do so and to do so without having someone looking over our shoulder all the time (Pure English ‘We’re Not Children Here”). My Theme for the Campaign posters is based from a scene from ‘MARY POPPINS’, where all the candidates’ nannies all blow away. It was very admusing, especial when I sketched them and then applied them in photoshop. The blowing away nannies makes me think the ‘NANNY STATE ISSUES should just blow away’ The word beneath say ‘NANNY STATE SAY NO’. The layout and text I got inspired from ‘KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON’ posters. The Keep Calm and Carry On was a poster by the British government in 1939 during the beginning of the Second World War than redicovered in 2000.
