I'm working on the theme for e-mail page of Russian mail-service. And this is the part of footer. Making my debut as a web designer

Birthday gift for a friend - the smoke formed birthday greetings on the one I gave her, hence the lack of detail in the upper portion

I wanted to design the biggest and baddest boss you could imagine for a game. I chose the element of earth and constructed this guy from rock, interwoven with wood and vines. I wanted to give it the look of a kind of Minotaur (from Jason and the Argonauts) but with a slight twist.

This is a digital painting I did for Expose 8, I hope it gets in I just went along with the ideas I got in my mind. I think she's some kind of elf, because of the ear..
I used some reference material. I did all textures by hand with Photoshop.

Painted in Corel Painter 12, this image was something that started out with me taking a chalk brush and trying to create a 'speeding' effect. As I developed the vehicle, I realised the colour patterning may have been influenced by modern trainers/sports footwear. It also gave the vehicle a quite 'retro' feel which I tried to embelish with retro multicoloured car interior panel lights. The electricity pylon on the ground was added late in the day as I wanted to lock down for the viewer, some notion of the position and relationship of the vehicle to the ground plain - it helped emphasis the point that the vehicle's tip, whilst traveling forward, is somewhat tilted up slightly.

This is the first time I try this kind of portrait/character painting (less realistic but more paint-like) so please dont laugh.

Photoshop CS 2, reference for face's ratio is based on errr.... myself (with a mirror, but be warned, I'm a guy.)

Commissioned by author Matthew Lucus for the cover of his book ‘A Roar In The Pinelands’; aimed at teens and adults.

The blur effect on the tail and paws adds depth and movement. This helps emphasise the energy of the confrontation and the battle about to commence.

A fiery colour scheme and storm clouds compliment the drama happening below.

Vultures circle overhead watching with beady eyes. A presence that indicates to the viewer that this face-off could be fatal for one of the powerful combatants.

Just felt like painting this funny little guy.

This is done for Gempakstarz Illustration 2011 Malaysia Contest, and received the First Place Winner in this contest.

Anyway, it is done with fully Adobe Photoshop.
