A Halloween image celebrating the lycanthrope.

Painted primarily in Painter 12. Inspired by the Morrighan of Celtic mythology.

A ghoulish fiend which lurks buried in cemeteries, disguised as a tombstone..

This was basically a speedpainting, done in a couple of hours. But when I got to the colouring stage, I probably spent longer than I wanted to, so basically the image was completed in two sittings. Done in Corel Painter and coloured on Photoshop.

The name of the piece came about by accident, as I unintentionally struck the keys thinking I was performing an action, only to find I had renamed a layer!

Auntie Bacterial character concept

Another illustration for myWV.net's Myths & Mysteries series. Created with Corel Painter 12, I had an enormous amount of fun on this one! It's one of my favorites of the Painter works I've created so far!

Slightly touched up version of a previous speedpainting image...

This is a self-initiated drawing I produced of a scene from the short story 'Lamb to the Slaughter' by Roald Dahl.
I wanted to capture the unsettled feeling of the story by warping the perspective of the various elements within the scene. Creepy....!

Speedpainting done in a couple of hours ( colours took a little longer than before ). Originally, was going to paint a werewolf, but thought a 'Were-Bat' would be more interesting...
