she walks the lonely street
she stares at herself and thinks
this is someone i don't want to know
her heart is sinking like a stone
to the bottom of the bottle where love never grows
and nothing can live and light never shines

tries to attack the changes
tries to forget the faces
that pushed her to this place that she calls home
her future's sinking like a stone
to the bottom of the bottle where everyone knows
and nothing can live and nothing can die

she cries out to the angels
redemption!
to end her dance with devils
salvation!

i know, but she told
that's how love goes
and everyone that loved her has moved on...

I painted this on literal wall around 11 feet wide and 5 feet high for primary school part of mural. And after I took a photo shoot of the finished painting I repaint it again on photoshop, adding flowers and I add noise to make a photo effect.

Another experiment, mixed media. Inspired by the fantastic Stevie Ray Vaughan's cover of Jimi Hendrix song with the same title, Little Wing.

This image won the 'Nordic Art & Graphic Challenge 2008' at the art forum 'Addictivehobby' - The contest was judged by Phillip Straub & Robert Chang, so it was quite an honour..

Hand drawn, then outlined in illustrator. Taken into photoshop where erosion and texture were added then colours desaturated to give a vintage worn look.

Will you have faith in times of trouble?

This is some fan art I did for the release of the movie, The Runaways. The film is based on the 70's all girl band that introduced many to rock legends Joan Jett and Lita Ford. I decided to do the iconic 70's versions of Joan Jett and the lead singer Cherie Curry, since they seem to be the focal point of the movie.

The fight against injustice will continue till we understand that we are beads of the same chain... together we complete the cycle of life.....
