Alan Moore is one of the speakers at this year’s Northants International Comics Expo, where he’ll be sharing his tips in an hour-long talk on how to write comics and in a Q&A session.

The writing legend behind John Constantine, V for Vendetta, Watchmen and much more is joined at the festival by a host of other luminaries, including Simon Bisley, Steve Dillon, Shaky Kane and many more, who will be taking questions, presenting panels and sketching throughout the event.

There’s also a host of activities for comics fans to participate in, including signings, workshops, cosplay, art galleries, a dealers’ area and live music. The festival focuses on comics, graphic novels, manga and action figures and is set in the grounds of Wicksteed Park, the UK’s oldest theme park. It runs on 22nd and 23rd September 2012. Visit the website for ticketing information.

NICE is supporting the library donation program – every book that attendees donate to Northants libraries will be matched with another book. A book donation is compulsory if you want to attend the Alan Moore panels.
