great blog and great magazine I buy it every month. As for art rage, I love this program. I know it is not photoshop but it has some great options. For example the different brushes and textures as well as the different surfaces from canvas to crumpled paper that you can customize. And to top it off the stencils such as your links on this page refer too are awesome. I have been using Art Rage to paint backgrounds for my 3d renders in poser and in zbrush. For the background sky in the render on the front page of my blog was first started in art rage then finished in photoshop.
